Eurofin Agroscience Services R&D Trial Sites for Bundaberg

Eurofins Agroscience Services are looking for suitable

R&D Trial Sites in the Bundaberg Region - crop compensation available

1.       Peanut trial - This is an efficacy trial to evaluate an experimental chemical combination against PINEAPPLE MEALYBUG (efficacy against Jassids/Leafhoppers assessed too) in peanuts. There would be three applications several days apart. The first application would be once pest pressure has been established. Plot size required: 10m x 3.6m. Number of plots required: 44 plots. We will also be assessing any phytotoxicity issues. Crop will not be used as a safety precaution. Compensation as required.

2.       Soybean trial - This is an efficacy trial to evaluate an experimental chemical against GREEN VEGETABLE BUG (efficacy against Mirids, Heliothis, Loopers, Bean Podborer and Monolepta beetle (Daryl mentioned this beetle was a problem currently) also assessed)). There will only be one application to take place once economic thresholds of main pest is reached. Plot size required: to be determined. Number of plots required: 48 plots. Status of crop after trial to be determined. Compensation as required.

3.       Tomato trial - This is a trial determining Residue Levels after a foliar application in tomatoes under protected cropping conditions. There will be three applications. The first application to take place at 17 days before commercial harvest, and then at 10 days before and finally 3 days before commercial harvest. Plot size required: At least 10m2. Number of plots required: 3 plots. Crop will not be used as a safety precaution. Compensation as required.

4.       Capsicum trial - This is a trial determining Residue Levels after a foliar application in capsicum. There will be three applications. The first application to take place at 17 days before commercial harvest, and then at 10 days before and finally 3 days before commercial harvest. Plot size required: At least 10m2. Number of plots required: 3 plots. Crop will not be used as a safety precaution. Compensation as required.

5.       Tomato trial - This is a trial determining Residue Levels after a foliar application in trellis tomatoes. There will be two applications. The first application to take place 17 days before commercial harvest and then again at 3 days before commercial harvest. Plot size required: To be determined. Number of plots required: 3 plots. Status of crop after trial to be determined. Compensation as required.

6.       Capsicum trial - This is a trial determining Residue Levels after a foliar application in capsicum. There will be two applications. The first application to take place 17 days before commercial harvest and then again at 3 days before commercial harvest. Plot size required: To be determined. Number of plots required: 3 plots. Status of crop after trial to be determined. Compensation as required.

7.       Citrus trial - This is a trial determining Residue Levels after a foliar application in mandarins. There will be two applications. The first application to take place 21 days before commercial harvest and then again at 7 days before commercial harvest. Plot size required: To be determined. Number of plots required: 3 plots. Status of crop after trial to be determined. Compensation as required.
